This weekend your preschooler learned how to be a good friend. We looked at the story of David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel 16:15-23; 18:1-4; 19:1-7. Review that story with your preschooler and then discuss the following questions:

1. What made Jonathan such a good friend to David?
2. Why is it important to be a good friend?
3. How can we be good friends to those around us?
