We believe that the church should operate as the hands and feet of Jesus, giving and providing compassion to those in need. We are committed to spreading God's love locally, nationally, and internationally through M1ssion efforts. Whether it’s rebuilding a school gymnasium, constructing a church, or distributing Bibles abroad, we aim to share Jesus with as many places and people as we can with the tools God has given us.
Sometimes love is shown through understanding someone’s situation and knowing how you can help. Compassion projects may include feeding, clothing, or meeting other basic needs of the ones who need it most.
The gospel is spread when people have places to come and meet together. Construction projects help with disaster relief and new construction of homes, churches, or other renovations.
Fun is a universal language understood by all! Whether it’s dribbling a soccer ball or bouncing a basketball, sports trips open doors into the lives of children and communities to share the message of Jesus.
The most basic need is to be healthy and free from illness. Medical outreach may include giving shots, checking blood pressure, or teaching basic hand-washing techniques in rural communities.
When looking for ways to help others, we cannot ignore the needs in our own communities. Community Connect brings needed food, clothing, and personal care items to Albuquerque neighborhoods. Those interested are invited to attend any Sagebrush service and bring a stamped paper program prior to receiving needed goods.
Our Jail & Prison team brings Sagebrush services to men, women, and children in detention centers in and around Albuquerque each week. It is our goal to remind them that there is a God who loves them and a community willing to reach out to them.
