Pressure Point: Money Problems

As long as you don’t become a workaholic and alienate yourself from your family.

As long as you don’t take advantage of other people or hurt your own health.

As long as you don’t become a greedy, materialistic, jerk.

Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you. James 5:1-6

1. If you are spending more than you make each month, your money has you.

2. If you are spending as much as you make each month, your money has you.

3. If you don't know what you are spending each month, your money has you.

4. If you don't tithe (give 10% to the work of God), your money has you.

5. If you are making financial decisions without your spouse knowing about it, your money has you.

6. If you are buying groceries with a credit card, because you have to, your money has you.

7. If you are only making the minimum payment on your credit cards, your money has you.

8. If you are dreading a teaching series on finances, your money has you.
