2. It shows that I’m participating in their destruction.
Discipline your children while they are young enough to learn. If you don’t, you’re helping them destroy themselves. Proverbs 19:18
1. Spell out expectations and rules for children.
2. Never discipline children for just making childish mistakes.
3. Never discipline out of anger.
4. Always go from the mildest form of discipline.
5. Don’t use harmful words.
6. Always follow up discipline with love and affection.
7. Be consistent.
8. If you ever make a discipline mistake, own it.
