Leave No One Behind: How to Live Like Jesus Lived

The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men— robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. 1. Jesus would encourage those around Him to be the best they could be.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

2. Jesus would have intentional conversations.

...“’Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’” Luke 16:27-28

3. Jesus would invest His time in people who are far from God.

4. Jesus would never underestimate the power of one conversation.

YOU KNOW THAT... There is no sin so great that God can’t forgive it. I John 1:9

YOU KNOW THAT... You know that God loved you so much that Jesus died for you. John 3:16

YOU KNOW THAT... Anyone who confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead will be saved. Romans 10:9

YOU KNOW THAT... God is for you and not against you and that He wants to do life together with you. Romans 8:31
