How To Live A Life Of Purpose And Meaning

1. Start with the end in mind.

What did my life add up to?
Did I really matter?
What did I live for?
Who will remember me?
What will they say about me when I am gone?
Why was it important that I existed?
 

Where there is no vision, the people perish... Proverbs 29:18

Be very careful, then, how you live -not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

What are the things that only I can do?

I am responsible: To have a close and intimate relationship with Jesus.
I am responsible: To build a marriage that thrives, not just survives.
I am responsible: To be the dad my kids need me to be.
I am responsible: To help them grow spiritually and closer to one another.
I am responsible: To leverage my life for eternal purposes.
I am responsible: To exercise and develop healthy eating habits.
I am responsible: To take time to have fun and enjoy life with my family and friends.
