“‘Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.’“ Matthew 6:12

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

1. God’s forgiveness is selfless.

“Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” Acts 7:60

2. God’s forgiveness is unlimited.

3. God’s forgiveness is repeated.

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:22-23

4. God’s forgiveness is unfair.

“When I saw the image of my father in his face, my enemy became my brother.”
