WWJD – Week 1

Talk about a time when you did something that you knew was wrong.

Read Matthew 4:1-4

What did Jesus do when He was tempted?

What do we need to do, in order to act like Jesus when we are tempted?

What are some ways that you can think of to try to help us stay on track with what God wants us to do?

Parents, explain how one of the best things that we can do is read our Bibles because it helps us to know what God wants us to do! Then, when we are tempted to do something wrong, God’s Word will come to our minds and it will help us act like Jesus.

Try making a, “What Would Jesus Do?” sign. Get as creative as you want with it! Color it, put stickers or glitter on it or whatever you have around the house. Then, find a place to put your sign up where you will see it and remember to ask yourself, What Would Jesus Do?

Close in prayer by asking God to help us when we are tempted and remind us to act like Jesus when life gets hard.
