Talk to your kids about the problems that come with lying. Let them know that even though the truth seems hard and scary, it is always better than lying.
Read Proverbs 12:22 and 21:6
-Why do you think God wants us to be truthful?
-Is it possible to lie to God?
-Can we ever tell a lie and get away with it?
-What are some ways we can make telling the truth easier?
Close in prayer by asking God for the courage and strength to tell the truth in all situations. Let God know that you are sorry for all the times you have lied and thank Him for His forgiveness.
