Ask your kids which rules of the house they don’t like to obey. Talk to them about why those rules are important and let them know that the things God tells us to do are even more important.

What happened to Jonah when he tried to run away from God?
Do you think we can ever really run away from God?
What can happen to us if we try to do things our own way instead of God’s way
What has God told you to do that you need to stop trying to run away from?
Close in prayer by telling God you are sorry for not always doing what He says and even trying to run away. Ask Him for help in doing things His way instead of yours.
