Believing God helps when we’re afraid.

What is something you used to believe in that you still believe in now?

Read 2 Samuel 5:1-51.

David did not become king right away, but he had to wait for it. When was a time you had to wait for something you wanted?

David faced lots of scary situations. What do you think David did when he was scared?

How can we be like David when we are scared?

David learned to lean on God when things got hard. Have you ever trusted God when you were scared? If so, what happened?

David believed that God would keep His promise, which God did. How else has God kept His promises?
