Ask your kids how they can tell someone is a follower of Jesus. Help them make a list of things only a follower of Jesus would do.
Read John 15:1-8
From the list you made earlier of things only a follower of Jesus would do, which things do you think are fruit?
Can someone be a follower of Jesus without bearing fruit?
What things in your life prevent you from bearing fruit?
Close in prayer by thanking God for Jesus, the true vine. Let Him know that you want to stay connected to Him and produce fruit.
