Journey - Week 1

Talk to your kids about the things that God has given your family. Tell them about a time that you counted on God for a need and He provided.

Read Exodus 15:22-26

What does it mean to count on God for the things we need?

Should we count on God to give us things we want, but don’t really need (video games, toys, candy, etc.)?

What example did Moses give us in these verses?

Read 6:25-34

What does worrying do for us?

Do you think that plants and animals count on God?

What does it mean to seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness?

Close in prayer by thanking God for providing for your needs and ask Him for help in seeking His kingdom first.
