Get 2 Steppin’ – Week 1

Talk to your kids about what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Let them know that it is important to let our faith control every part of our lives.

Read Matthew 4:18-22

• What do you think Jesus meant by saying Peter would fish for people?
• What did Jesus ask Peter and Andrew to do so they could become fishers of people?
• Jesus has also called you to follow Him. How well do you think you are following Him?

• What next step do you think you should take in being a follower of Jesus?

Close in prayer by thanking God for the example of Peter and Andrew who stepped aside for Jesus. Ask for help in being a better follower and fisher of people.
